1a. Soak some imli (or keep some paste like 1 tb spoon). Make it into 2 glasses of imli water.
1b. Make 2 cups of toor dhal well cooked/mashed..
2. Cook some veggies in imli water (like onions, some tomatoes,
other veggies), add some turmeric, asafetoda & boil it for 10
minutes.while that is going on,
3. Fry the following in little bit oil & grind to nice paste:
a. 2 sp of coriander seed +
b. 1 sp of chana dhal
c. quarter spoon of methi seed
d. 12 or so dry chillies
e. 2 sp (or 3) of grated coconut (wet or dry is fine)
4. Add the ground paste to the boiling water/veggies & continue let it boil for 3 minutes.
5. Add the mashed dhal to this & mix well.
6. Add some curry leaves/coriander leaves; stop when it is a bit foamy..
7. Add thadka (little mustard/jeera/)
